The Process,
What Can You Expect?

1. This! Your doing it, this is the first step!

• Take a look at my photographic style and what I have to offer and get your thoughts together. Do you like my style? Do my packages offer what your looking for? What is or isnt included that you might have questions with?

• Contact me by clicking on the “book/learn more button”

• When contacting, include your wedding date and the best way to contact you. Include any initial questions you might have.

2. Consultation:

• Together we will find a time to communicate verbally, have a true consultation. Could be in person, on the phone or video call. Its important to get to know each other aside from email and texting to see if we are a good fit or not.

• This is when we can get into the nitty gritty of things, ask all the questions you like and I too, will have a few questions for you!

• Also, if there is something you wish I could do please ask! Just because I don’t list it on my website doesn’t mean I can’t do it.

3. Booking:

• Once most of the questions are out of the way, I’ll draft a contract for you to review and for the 3 of us to sign (me you and your partner)

• The Booking fee (25% the cost of your packages) is due ASAP as this is what reserves me for your wedding date.

• Once the contract and booking fee are taken care of, then BOOM. Its official, your in my calendar!

4. Pre-Wedding Planning:

• Depending on your package and what we talk about in our consultation, different things could happen at this point. We will schedule an engagement session, I’ll design invites and/or wedding dates for you or whatever we agreed upon.

• I’ll require 2 main things from you at this point too, before your wedding. 1: a timeline of the day. 2: a shoot list. We can work together to create this and meet up again if you like!

5. Wedding Day:

• When I arrive on your wedding day, I’ll touch base with the two of you. Along with your coordinator and/or venue host (if applicable). I’ll also get familiar with the surroundings for my lighting and composition.

• I’ll be following the timeline/you all day. Capturing moments, details, and anything required on your shoot list.

6. Post-Production:

• After your big day, I’ll start the editing portion. Copying, culling, editing all that fun stuff.

• Typically within a week, I’ll have a sneak peak for you. These you can share online or show family members, its is kinda like a progress update.

• I don’t guarantee a “minimum or maximum” amount of photos as this is HEAVILY dependent on many factors like guests that attend and the flow of the day. I also try not to include more than 1 or 2 “instances” of a moment or photo. I am a “quality over quantity” type of guy/shooter. You don’t need the 5 photos of your nephew laughing for 3 seconds. I’m just going to deliver to you the best one. Unless they fall to the floor rolling around laughing, then its like a stop motion, ha!

• Turn around time is dependent on work load for me but expect about a 1-2 month turn around. Once done, I’ll supply you with a gallery link were you can download, share and order prints!

7. Communication:

• If anything pops up on my end that results in things being pushed back, I’ll let you know. Give you updates as things progress.

• Additionally, if your curious about anything at anytime, please reach out!

8. Album Design (Optional):

• Just like save the dates and invites, if you wish to order a photo album with me, I’ll design the book at no additional cost.

• This will be collaborative, I’ll send your proffs and work of any suggestions or changes you request.

9. Printing Your Own Photos (Optional)

• The online gallery is super easy to use and the print orders go right to me. They are handled personally by me and not some random print lab on the west coast. I do this to ensure the quality of the prints. If something doesn’t look right, I’ll handle the redo cost, not you.

• If you desire to print your own photos, printing rights can be purchased at 20% the cost of your package. If you want to do that, just let me know.

• When that payment is made, I’ll be able to replace the photos in your gallery with their full resolution counterparts and will also send you a “Print Release Form” that states you have the rights to print said photos. Printing labs will (and should) ask for this.

10. Thats it! …for now!

• At this point, we are done! I would greatly appreciate a review as this helps me learn and grow and helps others make decisions on who to work with.

• I’ll archive your photos for at least a year, and strive to archive your photos for as long as possible, indefinitely.

• Just because this is the end of one chapter doesn’t mean our story or connection also needs to end. Id love to continue photographing key moments in your life like, your family growing, new house, new doggie or kitty, holiday cards/photos, or even sports events you or your kiddos are in.
